(Megaforce) It was a moment of elder rock legend anointing a young and burgeoning rock band named Rose Hill Drive. After a blistering set from the young trio at Rachel Fuller's "In The Attic" show at Chicago's House Of Blues on September 28, Rose Hill Drive closed the show with The Who's legendary guitarist Pete Townshend joining them on stage. Pete jammed on RHD's "Raise Your Hands" and after finishing, the riffs of "Young Man Blues" came out of Pete's guitar and it was off to the races with vocals provided by RHD's lead singer. It was a 10 minute jam with Pete and Rose Hill Drive's lead guitarist trading back and forth, one playing rhythm and one playing lead. The final song of the evening involved all performers singing "I Am One" with Rose Hill Drive playing and Pete on acoustic guitar.
After spending the last couple years building an enormous underground buzz with thrilling live shows, the Boulder-based trio Rose Hill Drive have been touring in support of their August 22nd debut self-titled release on Megaforce Records. The band will head to the UK for more dates with The Answer co-headlining: (and also support the Who on several dates - see the full story link for all of the dates] - Click here for the Full Story
