. (PR) Los Angeles by way of Chicago band TRS-80 has been busy gearing up for the November 21 release of its new album, Demixes. According to the band�s website, �Demixes is the sister release to Mystery Crash and features the audio manipulation talents of John Talaga aka Fashion Flesh on tracks 5-9. John is known for his �off the grid� approach to music and has also remixed artists like Cornelius, Stereo Total, and Momus. Also included are four new TRS-80 mixes and three recordings from a live studio session in Santa Monica that took place shortly after their West Coast tour this summer. The single take recordings capture the essence of TRS-80's live shows rarely heard outside of a music venue.�

The release of Demixes will also involve a promotion with Rhapsody, which will be effective November 21st - December 31st. The promotion includes a free download of the single �Special Effect (Blacklight Mix)�. The song �Special Effect� in its original version can be found on Demixes� sister release, Mystery Crash, and has already proven its popularity by being the most downloaded track from a record on iTunes.
