"Black Aria II" (evilive/October 17), the follow up to Danzig's 1993 "Black Aria," debuted last week at #8 on the chart and keeps a firm hold on the Top 10 coming in this week at #9. Danzig shares the Classical Crossover chart with artists such as Andrea Bocelli, Sarah Brightman, John Williams, Yo-Yo Mah and Itzhak Perlman. Produced, written and - with a couple of exceptions - performed by Glenn, "Black Aria II" employs thundering organ, otherworldly chants, operatic lamentations, poignant strings, ominous percussion, ritualistic chimes and other mysterious sounds to tell the tale of Lilith, the Biblical Adam's wife before Eve.
