Coheed And Cambria took Album Of The Year honors and Slayer's masterpiece 'Reign In Blood' grabbed the Best Album Of The Last 20 Years award.
Among those in attendance were Sebastian Bach, Will Smith (yes that Will Smith), members of Dragonforce, Aiden, God Forbid, Arch Enemy as well as Dimebag's widow Rita.
An interest aside on the Metal Hammer blog about the event: "36 Crazyfists' drummer Thomas Noonan was sporting a black eye because guitarist Steve Holt and he had an argument and Steve threw a CD case at him. But they are friends again now."
