The Florida band's new single "Paperthin Hymn"--which All Music Guide hailed as "one of the prettiest slabs of guitar rock released in the last ten years" (3/05)--is buzzing at radio with 25 adds in just two weeks. Elsewhere, HM Magazine said NEVER TAKE FRIENDSHIP PERSONAL offers "plentitude of hooks coupled with bright power pop textures and intermittent rocky danceability"(6/05). Other standout songs "Stationary Stationery," "The Runaways" and the title track highlight the band's melodic guitar-driven anthems.
Known for their frenetic and undeniably infectious live shows, the band--STEPHEN CHRISTIAN (vocals), JOSEPH MILLIGAN (guitar), DEON REXROAT (bass), NATHAN STRAYER (guitar) and NATHAN YOUNG (drums)--enlisted Aaron Sprinkle (Pedro The Lion, MxPx) to produce and capture their live sound. Frontman CHRISTIAN explains, "This album is more raw, honest and hyperactive. Our goal was to come out with an album we're confident in and show our audience what they can expect live."
Stay tuned for more touring news from a band that has shared the stage with My Chemical Romance, Taking Back Sunday, Fall Out Boy, The Starting Line, Sugarcult, The Early November, Story Of The Year, Lostprophets and Relient K, to name a few.
