Only from the mind of Simon Cowell� Yes Simon has a new TV show that debuts on August 29th on that bastion of high quality intellectual stimulation� FOX. No, it's not When Idols Attack, it's Celebrity Duets. The premise is simple, match a star (or formerly a star) singer with a celeb (that may or may not have used up their 15 minutes of fame) for a duet each week with the requisite elimination.

On the celeb side you have Cheech Marin, Lucy "Xena" Lawless, Lea Thompson McFly, Alfonso Ribeiro (Fresh Prince�), wrestler Chris Jericho, Olympic gold medalist Carly Patterson, Queer Eye for the Straight Guy's Jai Rodriguez, Queer As Folk star Hal Sparks.
