. (PR) Who says you can't reward 'extreme behavior.' Rock's hottest new 'bad boys,' Universal Republic rock band Hinder got more than a pat on the back this week, with their Extreme Behavior album being certified Gold by the RIAA for shipment of 500,000 copies. The raucous debut effort has benefited from non-stop touring from the Oklahoma fivesome, including a June trek through Canada with Boston band Godsmack, and a much celebrated 3 month juggernaut with Nickelback through September.

The band's current single, the world-weary ballad "Lips Of An Angel", has ruled rock radio with Yahoo and VH1 now embracing the enigmatic new video - Yahoo kicked off the world premier on July 24 and VH1 has placed Hinder in their "You Oughta Know" campaign, whose past artists have included James Blunt, Joss Stone, Keane and most recently KT Tunstall.
