The evening will be a three hour long extravaganza consisting of approximately 60 international performers in both the Junior and Senior division showcasing in 6 talent categories: dance, vocal, modeling, acting, instrumental and variety. This is after elimination process that started with over 4500 entrants. Selections for official contestants have been already held throughout the U.S., Canada, Caribbean, Central and South America, Europe, Asia and South Africa. "Some 75,000 people from over 40 countries applied to participate in 2006," says Griff O'Neil, competition president and a one-time executive of the Miss Universe Pageant." "One should not forget that it was talent contests that discovered the likes of Britney Spears and Frank Sinatra," adds O'Neil.
