AFI Escape Plan?

. (antiMusic) Could it be that the Dillinger Escape Plan are going to team up with AFI for a summer tour? The PRP reports that it has been confirmed but the DEP clan are a bit more cryptic about the whole subject. Writing on their Myspace blog on Monday the band confirmed they have plans to tour with another (unnamed) band and they would roll out some new material but they left who they are touring with a mystery. "WE ARE PLAYING SHOWS IN JUNE AND JULY. I can't let the cat out of the bag just yet as to what they are or who they are with, but we are gonna do a little something during that time, and will more than likely rip out some fresh new songs in those shows too, so bring your recorders haha. There will be more info announced soon about the shows." So could the cat be AFI? That band has announced a few upcoming shows, including some in June and July. So stay tuned, it might be happening.
