Tickets will go on sale June 4th for all shows except Dallas (on sale June 11th) and Houston (on sale now). Coldplay encourages people to go to the band's official website, www.coldplay.com, for additional information. Registered users of coldplay.com can participate in a first come, first served ticket pre-sale starting May 24th.
Coldplay will be the musical guest on the season finale of "Saturday Night Live" on May 21st. The Mark Romanek-directed video for "Speed of Sound," the first single from X&Y, will premiere on MTV2 (an all-day premiere) and Yahoo! Music on May 24th, and on MTV on May 25th.
X&Y, produced by Coldplay, Danton Supple and Ken Nelson, is the third album from the band, which has won four Grammy awards and sold 20 million albums worldwide since its 1998 inception.
