The producers are asking fans to vote again during Wednesday night when they will show a special edition of the program that will combine new live elements with rebroadcast of Tuesday's performances. 

This is the first time in the hit television show's history that fans were allowed to revote. The results from Tuesday night's vote will not be used in determining which contestant will be given the Idol boot during a special edition of the program on Thursday night.
