(Press Release) The Dead Rebels will be the first to tell you that they give a hoot about domestic violence issues. Co-headlining a Hooters charity benefit for Haven Hills, an LA-based battered women and childrens shelter, the southern rock band is fired up to make a difference while rocking out.
"We love to play no matter what, but its always cool when you get to do what you love and make a difference while youre at it," said Blake Lindley, The Dead Rebels drummer.
Having just completed their first professional album with the Robb brothers at Cherokee Studios in Hollywood, The Dead Rebels are also eager to incorporate their freshest batch of music into this upcoming live performance.
The benefit will take place on Wednesday, December 7th, at 8:00 p.m. at Club Xes in Hollywood, and tickets are currently on sale directly through the Hooters locations in Burbank and Hollywood. Proceeds will go toward shelter reparations as well as much-needed supplies for domestic violence prevention and aid programs at Haven Hills, which has helped over 100,000 women and children since 1977 to rebuild their lives and free themselves from the horrors of domestic abuse.
