(press release) Drive-Thru Records recording artist HELLOGOODBYE hit an amazing milestone: over 2 million plays and counting on PureVolume.com!

PureVolume, a music-hosting website that allows musicians, signed and unsigned to expose their music, tracks the number of plays artists receive. Only 6 artists have the distinction of 2 million plays on the site that features over 152,000 rising artists.

Drive-Thru Records will release a HELLOGOODBYE DVD on November 8, 2005. The real-time style documentary of the band on tour features interviews and acoustic footage, 5 brand new videos plus the entire set from their recent sold-out performance at the House of Blues in Anaheim.

In October HELLOGOODBYE will enter the studio with Matt Mahaffey to record their highly anticipated full-length slated for release in early 2006. Their self-titled EP released in November '04 has sold upwards of 26K copies, quite a feat considering it was available as a free download on the Drive-Thru Records website months prior to release.

In the meantime, HELLOGOODBYE can be seen on MTV'S The Real World Austin. The band is featured in episodes centering around the city's famed South By Southwest Music Conference. HELLOGOODBYE will headline the Drive-Thru Records' CMJ Showcase with label mates Steel Train, I Am The Avalanche, Socratic, Houston Calls and House Of Fools on September 17 at the Avalon in New York City.
