"Pull The Rabbit Ears" is a dusting of pop smarts and art-school invention blending machinated drum loops, synthesized swirls, rip-roaring guitars, back-bone bass, and three-part harmonies creating a musical cocktail that effortlessly sways between rock and electronica.
PINE*am features Taeca Kinos***a (keyboards), Chizuko Matsubayashi (guitars) and Tsugumi Takashi (bass) who met while studying at Osaka University of Art in 1999. The name PINE*am comes from artfully reassembling bits and pieces of the band members' anglicized surnames. It is also an epigram for the band's modus operandi: playing intense neutral electronica ad nauseum.
PINE*am will tour the U.S in select markets this May and will return for a national tour in the fall.
