(press release) Ex-Korn founder Brian Head Welch and Stephen Baldwin have partnered to form LIVIN IT RECORDS. Head currently is working on his first solo record which will be released through LIVIN IT RECORDS.

Baldwin, known as of late for his extreme sports ministry LIVIN IT - a skateboarding, BMX, motor cross outreach to the youth - is currently touring the US, and is a division of Palaufest Productions (www.palau.org). He has recently seen overwhelming success with his LIVIN IT DVD which has moved over 80,000 units in the first twelve months of its distribution (www.livinit.org .) As a result, Baldwin and Welch believe that this brand of ministry is sure to quickly become the forerunner of a new edgier way to impact todays youth. With that belief, they have joined forces to keep up the momentum of this movement in a non-traditional way.

Baldwin says, We are not trying to reinvent the wheel, we are just trying to bring God and the Bible to the kids in a hard core way that they can relate to. There is almost, nothing out there in the Christian Marketplace that the kids can connect with! This same idea holds true in the Mainstream Marketplace where the kids will start to see that the faith-based culture can be MORE hard core.

This selling trend has attracted the eyes of several Fortune 500 companies that have taken notice and would like to help maximize the potential of this untapped space that Baldwin and Welch are reaching. Through the LIVIN IT Ministry/Brand and now with the partnership of Welch and Baldwin it has become realized that this outreach to teens is huge not only through the extreme sports element but with the music vehicle that accompanies it. Welch says, This movement is sure to become the new form of punk rock rebellion that will glorify Gods kingdom for the youth that have been wounded, and as a result will be healed in the name of Jesus (www.headtochrist.com)!

LIVIN IT RECORDS has been approached by private funding organizations and is currently in talks with various distribution outlets and labels. Baldwin and Welch both say, We want the music that is created on our label to be with a team that understands the vision and ministry opportunity that is already happening!
