Bernie Mac's baseball comedy "Mr. 3000" came in third with $5 million. Fourth place was a tie between "Resident Evil: Apocalypse" and "First Daughter". Both films brought in $4 million.

The British zombie comedy "Shaun of the Dead" opened in 8th place with a $3.3 million gross. "Hero" rounded out the Top 10 bringing in another $2.3 million.
