The Sun reported on Sunday that an armed gang tried to force Zeta-Jones� limousine off the road and that her bodyguards traveling in a second vehicle, rammed the would-be abductors and thwarted a kidnap attempt. 

Local authorities however state that they have no knowledge of an attempted abduction. They also report that no one was injured in the accident.
