Spears injured her knee during a video shoot last Tuesday (6-8) and underwent arthroscopic surgery on her left knee the following day. Doctors have ordered Spears to stay off her knee for six weeks and then she must undergo at least eight to 12 weeks of rehabilitation. 

The tour was set to kick off next week in Hartford, Ct. Spears label, Jive Records issued a statement saying that they hope Spears can �revisit those cities in the future."

Previous Report: Pop star Britney Spears underwent knee surgery on Wednesday (June 9), following an accident on the set of his latest video.  Spears was filming a dance sequence on Tuesday for a music video to her next single �Outrageous�, when she injured her left knee. 

Following the accident, Spears was taken to a hospital where an MRI was conducted and it was discovered that Spears had floating cartilage in her left knee. This is the second knee injury for Spears this year; she had previously suffered a knee injury during a performance in Illinois. 

It is not know at this time, how this will affect her current �Onyx Hotel� tour.
