 I, Robot Beats Spider-Man At The Box Office

Spider-Man finally met his match: Will Smith. Smith returns to the top of the box office with �I, Robot�, which made an impressive debut this weekend with an estimated gross of $52.25 million. 

That estimated gross comes in just ahead of Smith�s previous top debuts for "Independence Day," "Men in Black" and "Men in Black II," which had opening July weekends in the $50 million to $52 million range.  

�Spider-Man 2� held its own with an estimated $24.2 million this weekend, bringing the total gross for the film to just over $300 million in 19 days. 
Hilary Duff�s new romantic comedy �A Cinderella Story� landed in third place with $13.8 million first weekend take.  

And Will Ferrell�s new comedy "Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy," dropped from its second place debut last week to No. 4 this week with an estimated box office of $13.4 million.  Michael Moore�s �Fahrenheit 9/11� dropped one spot to No. 5 with an estimated gross of $7 million.
