Nathan Lane and Matthew Broderick have been tapped to take the hit stage musical, The Producers, back to the big screen.
Lane and Broderick helped make the stage adaptation of the Mel Brooks 1968 comedy a big hit. Now they are getting the chance to reprise their roles in a new film version of the musical.

Gene Wilder and Zero Mostel played the starring roles that Lane and Broderick took on for the stage and now for the remake. Wilder earned a Best Supporting Actor Oscar nomination for the role.
