Jo An Corrales filed a "creditor's" claim on Thursday in Los Angeles County Superior Court claiming that Brando created "a hostile work environment due to his continuous acts of sexual harassment", during the three years she was employed by him.
Corrales also claims Brando breached a contract when he removed her as co-executor of his will two weeks prior to his death. Corralas is seeking fees she would have received as an executor as well as an estimate half a million dollars in commissions on residuals she claims that she recovered for the veteran actor. In the claim filed with court, it states that the terms of Corrales contract with Brando include a $5,000 monthly salary as well as 10% of his residuals.
Corrales joins a line of creditors that
have made claims against the actor's $21.6 million estate since it went
into probate in August. The claim offers no specifics on the sexual
harassment charges but an attorney for Corrales has said that if the trustees
of the estate reject his client's claim, a lawsuit will be filed and that
it will include the specific allegations.
