She was arrested last Thursday after breaking windows at a friends house in an attempt to get inside. She was booked and then released on $2500 bail, only to be rushed to the hospital less than an hour later for a drug overdose. (see story)
Love will be arraigned tomorrow (10/10) in a Los Angeles court. She is facing up to a year in jail on the charge or at minimum 90 days if convicted and the charge isnt pleaded down by her attorney and the District Attorneys office.
It is not officially known what controlled substance Love was under the influence of but she did give a hint in a posting on her website, where she claims it was the prescription antianxiety agent Xanax.
Love wrote: "Two words...MY house...five words...Don't F--K with a strong sedative...one word ipecac?...IPECAC? or AMBULANCE?...I lost a day so I couldn't talk...that motherf--king piece of sh-t in MY house...and I will not even comment on the L.A.P.D....oh and the controlled substance...ONE F--KING WORD...XANAX!"
When she was said MY house, perhaps she was claiming to be owner of the home where she broke the windows, which reportedly is the residence of her manager and ex-boyfriend Jim Barber. Pure speculation but it sounds like Courtney had some kind of blow up and decided she wanted to evict Barber from the residence. It is not known if she is the legal owner of the property.
Ipecac is a non-prescription syrup used to induce vomiting in poison victims.
