Police were called to a Wilshire-area home early on Thursday morning on a suspected burglary. When they arrived at the residence they discovered Love outside the house near some broken windows. She had reportedly broken the windows and attempted to enter the home, which turned out to be her friend�s, according to a police spokesman.
The officers arrested and booked her for
suspicion of being under the influence of illegal narcotics. She Posted
$2,500 bail and was released.
The Los Angeles Times reports that less
than an hour later police and paramedics in Beverly Hills were called out
to a private residence on an emergency and rushed a women to the hospital
for treatment.
Police told the Times that the women had overdosed and confirmed that it was Courtney Love. According to the Times she was no longer at the hospital by mid-day Thursday. No further information was know at press time.
