Metallica�s first original studio album release in six years, �St. Anger� sold 418,000 copies last week to place it firmly at the top of the charts.  Jewel cane in second with her new album �0304,� which sold 143,000 copies according to SoundScan. 

 Train made a notable debut on the charts with sales of 87,000 copies of their new album �My Private Nation,� landing them at No. 6.  

Last week�s No. 1 album Led Zeppelin�s �How The West Was Won� dropped to No. 9 with sales of 75,000.
