elbow have announced that they are returning to the US for the first time since 2020, and their first East Coast and Canada shows since 2017, bringing their critically acclaimed catalog across North America for a headlining tour announced today.

Starting in Washington, D.C. on September 26, the band will be making 14 stops across the country, winding their way to the west coast and finishing at The Wiltern in Los Angeles on October 16. (continue)

Jizzy Pearl's Love/Hate have shared an animated music video for their new single "You're Gonna Burn" that was created by Ashley Miles of Hot Frog Animation.

Haken have shared a live video for "Beneath the White Rainbow" as a preview to their forthcoming "Liveforms: An Evening With Haken", live package that will be released on May 9th.

"Liveforms" was captured during the band's September 21, 2024 performance at the O2 Forum in London during their "Evening With" tour that featured the band playing their "Fauna" album in full, and a second set of tracks from their entire career. (continue)

Shinedown's Eric Bass has released his debut solo album "I Had A Name" that includes his previously released singles "Goodnight Goodnight," "Azalia" and "Mind Control".

Dark Chapel, led by Black Label Society's Dario Lorina, have released a music for their new track "Corpse Flower", the third single from their just released debut album "Spirit In The Glass".

Dario said of the new track, "When I was writing the lyrics for 'Corpse Flower,' I was envisioning an imagery, very similar to the artwork that became the single art, of an ominous field of mostly dead flowers with one living and towering over as almost a beacon of or a portal to the underworld, representing immortality. Joey Molland, who was the final surviving original member of the legendary and influential band Badfinger died late Saturday, March 1st, according to his Facebook page. He was 77.

The admin for the Facebook page shared the sad news about the passing of the iconic guitarist this morning, writing, "Well, the day we never wanted to see has arrived. Joey (Joseph Charles) Molland passed away last night, surrounded by Mary, his two sons, and other family members at 11:39pm CST" (continue)

KISS frontman Paul Stanley has pushed back on the criticism that the band received for not involving any past members of the group in their final concert at Madison Square Garden in late 2023.

The concert featured the final lineup of the band, founders Stanley and Gene Simmons, along with guitarist Tommy Thayer, and drummer Eric Singer. However, cofounders Peter Criss and Ace Frehley, or other former members like Bruce Kulick, Vinnie Vincent, or the late Eric Carr or Mark St. John, were not thanked or mentioned directly during the show. L.A. Guns guitarist Tracii Guns appeared on a recent episode of The Bad Decisions Podcast With Scott Nathan and reflected on the early days of Guns N' Roses, specifically frontman Axl Rose and explained where some of the misconceptions of the vocalist came from.

During the chat, Tracii was asked what Axl was like as a roommate and he responded, "He was a great roommate. The interesting thing about Axl is he really knows right from wrong. Kelly Nickels shared the news that Riley's L.A. Guns have disbanded. The group carried on for a few years following the death of their namesake Steve Riley (W.A.S.P. and L.A. Guns) in October of 2023, but have now decided to break up.

Nickels shared, "What up everybody? So I just wanted to officially say that Riley's L.A. Guns are calling it quits. For obvious reasons and some not so obvious reasons it's time to move on. Herman Rarebell & Friends have shared a music video for their take on the Pat Benatar classic "Love is a Battlefield," which comes from the forthcoming "What About Love?" album that arrive on April 11th.

The legendary former drummer for the Scorpions had this to say about the track, "I heard this tune for the first time on our tour bus in 1983 and was immediately amazed at how the song was performed, especially on the drums. The rock world was hit with very sad news this morning, legendary New York Dolls frontman and actor David Johansen passed away on Friday, February 28th, following a long battle with cancer. He was 75.

His family shared the following, "David Johansen died at home in New York City on Friday afternoon holding hands with his wife Mara Hennessey and daughter Leah, surrounded by music, flowers, and love. He was 75-years-old and died of natural causes after nearly a decade of illness." (continue)
