MPL and UMe commemorate the 50th anniversary of Wings' fourth studio album, Venus and Mars half-speed master edition, out on March 21, 2025. Pre-order here.

One of the world's most beloved rock outfits, Wings came to define the era of 1970s arena rock while dominating the airwaves with no fewer than 14 US Top 10 hits and 12 Top 10 hits in the UK. Following their 1973 masterpiece Band on the Run, Venus and Mars would represent another peak of Wings' creative and commercial heyday. The band's fourth studio album was released on May 27, 1975, ahead of the legendary Wings Over the World tour. Preceded by the US Number One single "Listen To What The Man Said" and featuring "Letting Go," a fan favorite in Paul's live set to this day, Venus and Mars hit Number One in the album charts on both sides of the Atlantic and went on to sell over 4 million copies worldwide. Cursive shared the dark, moody, and cinematic video for their song "Dark Star," from their acclaimed recent album Devourer. Directed by Jenn Wexler (The Ranger, The Sacrifice Game), it's the final installment of the band's series of horror-themed clips created around the album by genre directors, following "Bloodbather," by Chelsea Stardust (Satanic Panic, All That We Destroy) and starring Shannon Purser (Stranger Things, Riverdale, Sierra Burgess Is A Loser) and Aurora Perrineau (Westworld, Kaos); "Up and Away," by Brea Grant (12 Hour Shift, Torn Hearts); "Botch Job," by Travis Stevens (A Wounded Fawn, Jakob's Wife, Girl On The Third Floor); and "Imposturing," directed by singer/guitarist Tim Kasher.

"'Dark Star' is a moodier song from Devourer, a song about wrestling with the darkness in us all," Kasher explains. "The video, helmed by director Jenn Wexler, playfully lays out an evening of debauchery that ends in horror." Devourer-the band's 10th full-length LP released September 13th, 2024, via Run For Cover Records-has been earning the seminal band praise and support from outlets including Thrasher, Antics Magazine, FLOOD Magazine, Brooklyn Vegan, FLOOD Magazine, CBB-FM, Artist Friendly with Joel Madden podcast, New Noise, Kreative Kontrol podcast, Under The Radar, Popmatters, and more.
