Former Mushroomhead frontman Jeffrey Nothing (Jeffrey Lewis Hetrick) has confirmed that he is battling cancer months after losing his wife to the disease, and his daughter has launched a crowd funding page to help with his treatment.
His daughter Mea shared on the newly launched Gofundme page, "My dad has recently been diagnosed with Cancer, just months after losing my mom to the same thing. Due to this, he may have to stop working during his treatment. Anything means everything, Thank you." (continue)

Legendary Yes frontman Jon Anderson and The Band Geeks have announced the first leg of their 2025 North American tour. The 18 show tour begins at the Rialto Theater in Tucson Arizona on April 1st and concludes at the Carteret New Jersey Performing Arts Center on May 18th.

Here is the story: My song Far Too Long has been a long time in the making. I was recently going over old demos, and I found some demos of this song from 9 years, which makes complete sense to me when I think about the subject matter and what I was going through at the time.
The Story Behind the Song: When I was writing this song, I was working 40+ hours a week at my day job as a paralegal, and 40+ hours a week as a musician - teaching, gigging, etc. I did this for about 3 years straight in my 30's. If it was my 20's, I probably wouldn't have even noticed, as I had become accustomed to burning the candle at both ends with a day job and music. As I aged, it was beginning to ware on me, and I didn't even realize it. (continue)
