Former My Chemical Romance drummer Bob Bryar passed away at his home in Tennessee this past Tuesday (November 26th), according to TMZ. He was 44 years old.

Law enforcement told the celebrity news site that Bryar was last seen alive on November 4th and that there was no signs of foul play and authorities are investigating his cause of death. (continue)

Following his Thanksgiving message, Jake. E. Lee once again took to social media on Saturday (November 30th), to share more details about being shot multiple times while walking his dog Coco in his Las Vegas neighborhood in the early morning of October 15th.

Lee (Ozzy Osbourne, Badlands, Red dragon Cartel) has now shared these details: "Feels like I need to clarify the events leading to the shooting. Coco and I were walking home from our walk. Spotted two, gentlemen, dressed in black, hoodies pulled down low, face masks covering their mouths, in a driveway checking out a motorcycle. (continue)

Organizers have pulled the plug on the 2025 edition of the Sick New World festival in Las Vegas, which was scheduled to take place on April 12th and feature Metallica and Linkin Park leading the bill.

The event's official Instagram shared, ""It is with great disappointment that we announce that Sick New World will no longer take place in Las Vegas on April 12, 2025. Despite our best efforts, we've encountered unforeseen circumstances that we are unable to overcome for next year's show. (continue)

One of the saddest parts of looking back at the year in rock, is revisiting the tragic news of the passing of music stars. The first such story in this year's recap was when the Scorpions had a top 24 story of January 2024 when they paid tribute to their former drummer James Kottak.

The drummer passed away at the age of 61 on January 9th in Louisville, KY, according to his daughter Tobi, who confirmed his passing to TMZ. Kottak was the longest serving drummer for the German hard rock group Scorpions, spending two decades with the group from 1996 through 2016. He is also known as a founding member of Kingdom Come.
