Coheed and Cambria announces their forthcoming album The Father of Make Believe due March 13th, 2025 via Virgin Music Group. The new full-length marks the 10th studio album from the New York band and continues the narrative of The Amory Wars / Vaxis universe, following their 2022 album Vaxis Act II: A Window of the Waking Mind, which garnered critical success and the band's first Top 10 radio single of their career with "Shoulders."
Alongside the album's announcement, Coheed and Cambria shares the new single "Searching for Tomorrow," which arrives alongside an Anthony Scheppard-directed and animated video. Just days ahead of Sammy Hagar announcing a Las Vegas Residency for his The Best Of All Worlds Van Halen tribute show, drummer Jason Bonham revealed that he would no longer be part of the band. Now he says that he was a little shocked that Sammy did not ask him to continue with the group.

Former KISS guitarist Vinnie Vincent took to his solo band Vinnie Vincent Invasion's social media and asked fans a "favor" by requesting "Could everyone update their profile with real ID. NAME AND PHOTO. users should have to use their real names and show an ID in order to use social media."
After that caused a bit of an uproar among fans, Vincent explained the request with, "This was intended for anyone using fake names and rock star photos as their ID. The first authorized documentary about the legendary group Fleetwood Mac has been announced by Apple Original Films and it is being directed by has five-time Academy Award nominee and Irving G. Lack Of Everything was originally written in 2021 but never ever had lyrics as I thought the distorted and the fuzz on the guitar sounded cool to me. It was a song I did spend a few months working on and wanted to sound angry.
