"A Fragile Thing" is the second track to be taken from The Cure's long-awaited new album, Songs Of A Lost World released on November 1st. The album, their 14th studio release, is their first in 16 years. Songs from the record were previewed during The Cure's 90-date, 33-country 'Shows Of A Lost World' tour, for more than 1.3 million people to overwhelming fan and critical acclaim.

Robert Smith says of the new single, "A Fragile Thing is driven by the difficulties we face in choosing between mutually exclusive needs and how we deal with the futile regret that can follow these choices, however sure we are that the right choices have been made... it can often be very hard to be the person that you really need to be." The 10th anniversary of the Allman Brothers Band's final concert will take place later this month and the legendary group and Peach Records are celebrating the occasion with the release of a special package featuring live recordings of the show.

Here is the official announcement with the details: On Tuesday, October 28, 2014, after 45 years of performing the greatest live music in rock history, the Allman Brothers Band had arrived at its final concert. The dream created by Duane Allman in 1969 had come to fruition, gone through triumph and tragedy, joy and sorrow, flourished and faltered, and ultimately persevered to reach the pinnacle of the blues/rock genre. The road had seemingly gone on forever, but, in 2014, the group decided that forever would come to an end at the Beacon Theatre in New York City. (continue)

Erasure, the award-winning songwriting duo of Andy Bell & Vince Clarke, will release limited vinyl editions of Tomorrow's World (2011), Snow Globe (2013) and the long out-of-print The Violet Flame (2014), via Mute on December 13, 2024.

Tomorrow's World (available on limited edition clear vinyl) is a collection of classic Erasure tracks that finds the duo in their fourth decade together sounding simultaneously contemporary and classic. Consequence wrote of the release, "if you want an example of the first wave of synthpop and excellently crafted, catchy dance music, there aren't many better than Erasure, and this is another album that affirms their reputation". The album, featuring the singles "When I Start To (Break It All Down)", "Be With You", "A Whole Lotta Love Run Riot" and "Fill Us With Fire", was recorded in Maine, London and Los Angeles. It was produced by Frankmusic (Lady Gaga, Pet Shop Boys, Ellie Goulding) following a four year break between albums (during that time Andy Bell released his solo album Don't Stop and Vince Clarke reunited with Alison Moyet for a Yazoo tour). Legendary Eagles guitarist Joe Walsh has shared the big news that Post Malone will be joining him for the biggest finale of VetsAid history when the annual event takes place this Veteran's Day on November 11th at the UBS Arena in Belmont Park, New York.

In addition to Walsh and Malone, this year's concert is also set to feature country music star Eric Church, rock veterans Toto and the iconic funk rockers Kool & the Gang. Rock icons America have announced that they have rescheduled their planned Florida stops this week of their current Ride On Tour 2024 due to the impact of Hurricane Milton.

Celebrating 30 years of the band, and 20 years of their iconic fan favorite album A Hangover You Don't Deserve, the tour sees the Grammy nominated pop punk favorites playing "Hangover" in full, along with some of the other obligatory fan favorites.

Ahead of the tour getting started, Bowling For Soup have released a video for one of the much loved songs off the album that has never had a music video...until now!
