Lynyrd Skynyrd frontman Johnny Van Zant says that his spirits have been lifted by the outpouring of love, support and prayers from fans in the wake of the sad news that a mass was found in his daughter Taylor's brain.
Late last month the band were forced to cancel several concerts so Johnny could return home because Taylor had to undergo emergency surgery. He shared last week, Taylor started having numbing feeling on her right side. She went to the emergency room, they did a cat scan, they found a, the only way to say it is found a mass on her brain. Original Queensryche frontman Geoff Tate has announced that he will be launching a massive U.S. tour next year where he will be performing the band's classic concept album "Operation Mindcrime" in full for the very last time.
The Operation Mindcrime, The Final Chapter Tour will be kicking off on March 18th in Tucson, AZ at the Rialto Theatre, with the first leg running through April 25th where it wraps in Boise, ID at the Revolution Center. (continue)

Oasis are selling out venues with their recently announced reunion tour and the album that first made them superstars, 1994's "Definitely Maybe", was actually the group's second attempt at the record.
They originally went into the Monnow Valley Studio in Wales with Scottish producer Dave Batchelor and recorded almost an album's worth of material, but the tracks from those sessions were ultimately abandoned and the band started over to record what would be the official version of "Definitely Maybe". Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band have expanded their 2025 European tour run, adding eight new shows to previously-rescheduled dates in Marseille, Prague and Milan.

The band will bring their adrenaline-fueled live show to cities across the Southeast, with additional stops in Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, and North Carolina, before returning to Florida for a final performance in Stuart, FL on February 11th. (hennemusic) Queen is sharing video of "Son And Daughter" from a Christmas Eve 1975 performance at London's Hammersmith Odeon. The song was originally featured on the band's 1973 self-titled debut album, which is being remastered and expanded for reissue on October 25.
The 6CD + 1 LP I box set contains 63 tracks with 43 brand new mixes, comprising the original album with its intended running order restored, intimate fly-on-the-wall audio of Queen in the studio, demos, rare live tracks, and previously unheard recordings from Queen's first ever live performance in London, August 1970. Absent from the 1973 release, the song "Mad the Swine" has been reinstated to its original place in the running order.
