The Mojo Dojo have released an animated music video for the rare David Lee Roth song "Mississippi Power", a track that highlights the Van Halen frontman's bluesy style.

Animator Ramses Rios said of the video, "A very rare, but amazing track by David Lee Roth from the YFLM (Your Filthy Little Mouth) album (Non-LP track). It has been around for ages, but not many are aware of this gem the Diamond blessed us with. (continue)

Pantera were joined on stage by Metallica's Robert Trujillo and Kirk Hammett during their surprise rare club show last Thursday (August 15th) at the famed First Avenue in Minneapolis.

The Metallica duo were brought out to do backing vocals on the Pantera classic "Walk", according to Setlist.fm. The special concert was not officially announced by Pantera, they performed under the name Cowboys From Hell, and the show was reportedly recorded for a future live album release, according to comedian Craig Gass who did an opening set at the event. World-renowned photographer Mark "Weissguy" Weiss talks below about his iconic photographs of Ozzy Osbourne, Lemmy Kilmister, and Joan Jett. These photographs will be presented-paired with recording artist and contemporary fine artist Billy Morrison's unique canvas paintings of them-for one weekend only: September 19, 20, and 21 at the iconic Motor Cars LA Showroom in Hollywood, CA. Billed as "A Moment In Time," the event is presented by X5 Podcast and Motor Cars LA. See the event details below.

The exhibition will feature 12 pieces from Morrison, and high-end editions of the same photographs from Weiss, with a special 13th painting and prints going to support mental health, suicide prevention and trauma counseling through the Above Ground charity spearheaded by Morrison and Dave Navarro, Jane's Addiction's guitarist. Long time friend Tommy Vext (formerly of Bad Wolves) will be filling in on lead vocals for Ill Nino's upcoming 25 Years Of Latin Metal European Tour. Marcos Leal will not be performing on the upcoming European Tour.

Ill Nino and Vext got their start on the East Coast, in the early days of the NY/NJ hardcore scene, and Vext opened for Ill Nino when he was just a teenager. This multi-cultural urban landscape helped cultivate the band's sound. Ill Nino's Revolution and Confession-era songs are no stranger to Vext, as they share a 25-year brotherhood. (continue)

As he approaches the landmark of his sold out, 3000th show at Alexandra Palace in London, UK on Saturday, February 22, 2025, Frank Turner releases the stunning Stuart Alexander-directed music video for "Somewhere Inbetween," the latest single to be lifted from his acclaimed new album, Undefeated.

"'Somewhere Inbetween' is one of my favourite songs from 'Undefeated', and for me the most important, because it's the hardest subject matter: imposter syndrome, alienation, disassociation," Turner states. The 45th anniversary of Led Zeppelin's album is being celebrated by the syndicated radio show In The Studio With Redbeard: The Stories Behind History's Greatest Rock Bands.

Redbeard shared this synopsis for the episode: When Led Zeppelin released their eighth studio album In Through the Out Door in August 1979, we had no way of knowing that it would be their last original studio effort. In Through the Out Door was immediately massively successful, rocketing to #1 sales in only its second week out in both the US and UK because of songs "In the Evening", "Southbound Suarez", "Fool in the Rain", and the achingly tender "All My Love", eventually equaling Led Zeppelin II for career best-seller. The Story So Far has just announced a U.S. fall tour celebrating their latest album release, I Want To Disappear. Supporting them on this Live Nation headlining tour are Superheaven and Koyo.

They will be making stops across the country, kicking off on November 21 in Nashville and visiting major cities, including Los Angeles, Chicago, Boston, Columbus, Brooklyn, Orlando, and Houston, among others. They will close out the tour on December 14 in San Francisco. (continue)
