Motley Crue guitarist John 5 says that the band will be releasing new music "very, very soon", which would mark the follow-up to the group's latest single "Dogs Of War" that marked the first music from the band since he replaced founding member Mick Mars as lead guitarist.
John 5 broke the news about new music coming during an appearance on SiriusXM's Trunk Nation With Eddie Trunk. When asked about the follow-up to "Dogs of War", he responded, "Yeah, actually, that's gonna be coming very soon. Actually, coming very, very soon. There's gonna be some announcements coming up very soon, and I can't really spill the beans now, but it is coming, baby. It is coming." (continue)
Last night Kings of Leon kicked off their Can We Please Have Fun Tour at the Moody Center in Austin, TX. The band delivered an epic night of rock music with some of their fan favorites and new material from their critically acclaimed album Can We Please Have Fun, released via Capitol Records.
The tour continues Friday, August 16th at Houston, Texas' Toyota Center and will make its way through some of North America's most popular venues including LA's Kia Forum on August 22nd, New York's Forest Hills Stadium on September 18th and Nashville's Bridgestone Arena on September 26th. Nearly 60 years after The Beatles performed their final concert at Candlestick Park, Beatlemania is back in the Bay. Organized by the National Portrait Gallery, London, and presented exclusively in California at the de Young museum, Paul McCartney Photographs 1963-1964: Eyes of the Storm will present more than 250 personal photos by Paul McCartney, video clips, and archival materials, that offer a behind-the-scenes look into the meteoric rise of the world's most celebrated band.
"In Eyes of the Storm, recently unearthed photographs by Paul McCartney provide a rare time capsule of The Beatles' world at the moment of their extraordinary rise to fame," remarked Thomas P. Campbell, Director and CEO of the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco. Greg Kihn, best known for his hit singles "The Breakup Song" and "Jeopardy", has died at the age of 75 after a battle with Alzheimer's disease, according to Michael Brandvold Marketing.

Bright Eyes have released a new video to accompany their track "Rainbow Overpass," from their forthcoming tenth studio album, Five Dice, All Threes, out on September 20th via Dead Oceans. The comic book-inspired visual, directed and animated by Nick Scott, sees the band, along with their comrades Alex Orange Drink, Corina Figueroa Escamilla, and Petra The Dog, trek across various backdrops in monochromatic black, white, and red until the speeding car drives off the eponymous rainbow overpass, illuminating the visuals in a mosaic of color.
The bright, punky anthem is propelled by acoustic guitar, horns, and fist-pumping gang vocals featuring Alex Orange Drink of The So So Glos, the accelerating tempo mirroring the quick-changing visuals in the music video. (continue)

Last night, iconic Las Vegas band The Killers kicked off their special residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace. This run of shows features the original band line up - Brandon Flowers (vocals), Dave Keuning (guitar), Mark Stoermer (bass) and Ronnie Vannucci Jr (drums) in celebration of 20 years of their iconic album Hot Fuss.

Prime Video today released the official key art and trailer for the upcoming four-part docuseries The Tragically Hip: No Dress Rehearsal, an intimate and unvarnished look at the extraordinary 40-year journey of Canada's most beloved rock band. Directed by Mike Downie, the four-part series chronicles the triumphs, trials and deep bonds of brotherhood that defined The Tragically Hip's rise from basement shows to arena rock legends. The docuseries will have its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) before screening at film festivals nationwide. The Prime Video launch date will be shared at a later date.

Eva Under Fire, led by powerhouse vocalist Eva Marie, surprised audience members at Pine Knob Music Theatre in Clarkston, MI last Thursday night, August 8, by joining iconic rock outfit 30 Seconds To Mars on stage during their "Seasons Tour." EVA sang alongside vocalist Jared Leto during the performance of their groundbreaking Double-Platinum hit single, "The Kill." EVA UNDER FIRE won an online contest held by 30 Seconds To Mars earlier this year after submitting their shattering rendition of "The Kill" from a recent taping at Sirius XM's NYC studios.
