Rolling Stone have shared their list of the "50 Worst Album Covers Of All Time" and some hard rock and metal icons made the list including Metallica, Van Halen, Ozzy Osbourne and the Scorpions.

The publications said of the list, "Our selection criteria for the list, other than fugliness: We skewed toward major artists with the resources of professional graphic designers who really should have known better. (Some of rock music's most revered design firms, such as Hipgnosis, are also some of the worst offenders here.) No more than one album per artist. No mercy for the album's music actually being good (that happens more often than you'd think)." (continue)

AWOLNATION has released a new single and music video for "I Am Happy" featuring Del The Funky Homosapien, which follows the release of the singles "Panoramic View" and "Jump Sit Stand March" featuring Emily Armstrong. The tracks can be found on the recently announced upcoming new album, 'The Phantom Five', to be released August 30, 2024.

"I hit Del up through my relationship with Dan the Automator," explains Aaron Bruno aka AWOLANTION on the collaboration. "Del goes, "Yeah, send it." and I'm like, "What? Wow, okay. Here we go." I sent Del the song's structure similar to how it is now, but I left one verse longer so he could go as long as he wanted. He sent it back perfect. It was so cool to send him a song with this kind of chorus, about trying to find happiness in a bizarrely upside-down time." (continue)

Atreyu make a passionate return to the hearts of fans everywhere with 'The Pronoia Sessions' - a new collection of eight reimagined greatest hits and two nostalgic tribute covers - due out this fall on Spinefarm. The digital release will begin streaming on October 25th while vinyl and CDs will hit streets on November 8th.

The band shared this about the upcoming release: "This album, to us, was something that initially came from the fans. During Covid, we started toying around with doing acoustic performances for the first time in our career. Since the release of 'Gone (Reimagined),' the outpouring of love and interest from our fans was overwhelming. It got us thinking...what if we didn't just make some of our classics acoustic, what if we took them to a whole new place? We feel with this album we have carved out a new home for these songs to stand on their own. They are new entities in our musical landscape. (continue)

Adam Lambert unleashes his most liberated and unfiltered body of work today with daring new dance-centric EP AFTERS via The Orchard. "With AFTERS, I finally feel like I'm creating exactly what I want without holding back," says Lambert. "I've never felt more empowered and confident in myself and my artist. I hope anyone who listens to this EP feels as liberated and fearless as I did when creating it."

Of his inspirations for the EP, Lambert previously shared: "Creating AFTERS has been such a liberating experience as I chose to craft an EP of house music that's unapologetically queer and sex positive. I throw many house parties and my aim was to create a soundtrack inspired by wild nights, giving a voice to our communities' hedonistic desires and exploits. Feeling more confident than ever, I wanted to get shamelessly raw and real with the listener. AFTERS is meant to make you move, sweat, fantasize and connect!" (continue)

Award winning Canadian music star Vikki Minor just released her new nostalgic single and video "COOL", and to celebrate we asked her to tell us about the track. Here is the story:

The new crush anthem! "COOL" is a 90s-referencing, unabashedly fun-loving, rad track listing all of the cool things about a person I'm crushing on from afar. I wrote the chorus first and fell in love with the hook, then wrote the verses listing the coolest things about a person I could think of and got a bit cheeky in the bridge about how this crush may not last forever, but it's "worth a shot!" L.A.-based producer Zack Burke emailed me last summer saying how much he loved my song "Miss You the Most" and that he wanted to collaborate. I dug his vibe immediately and knew it would be fun making this track with him. I wanted to emulate 90s alternative like Elastica and New Republic, and also bring in classic pop-punk/pop-rock music I grew up with. Songs like "Connection" and "Drop Dead Gorgeous" have this charisma that I just adore, so I hoped to embody the same feeling with "COOL". (continue)
