Former Metallica bassist Jason Newsted will be selling more than sixty electric, bass, and more guitars on Reverb. The Official Jason Newsted Reverb Shop will launch on July 24, featuring a selection of stunning vintage guitars, several one-of-one items-including guitars hand-painted by Newsted-and more unique pieces used throughout the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer's illustrious career.

"I'm teaming up with Reverb to sell some pieces from my collection for the very first time. The last 30 or 40 years as I've traveled around playing music for people, I've gathered some cool sh*t," Newsted said. "I traveled the world to collect these pieces and many of these pieces have traveled the world with me. I'd like to get them into the hands of other players because I can only play so many at once, and wonderful guitars such as these should not live in cases forever...they deserve to be enjoyed!" German 80s-inspired stadium rock band The New Roses make a triumphant return with their upcoming new album, 'Attracted To Danger', scheduled for release on October 4, 2024, via Napalm Records!

The band has already proven their ability to captivate a broad audience, especially with their latest album, 'Sweet Poison' (2022), which reached #13 on the German charts, and with its predecessor, 'Nothing But Wild' (2019), the band entered the top 10 in Germany. Over the years, they have solidified themselves as a staple and listener favorite on international rock radio, but the best way to experience their incredible and untamable rock'n'roll energy is during their famous live shows. They were not only the first German band to perform at KISS Kruise in 2018 and 2019, but they also supported the living legends on their German shows and shared stages with immortal Aerosmith, Foreigner, and the German rock icons Scorpions. In 2023, they welcomed back guitarist Norman Bites and united as a quintet. (continue)

Riot Fest, the iconic annual punk rock and alternative music festival, is excited to announce its 2024 daily lineup, shuttle service, a community band contest in the Lawndale & Little Village neighborhoods and more! This year's festival will take place at SeatGeek Stadium in Bridgeview, Illinois, from September 20-22nd, featuring 90+ bands over 3-days, and will feature RiotLand, an immersive "Choose Your Own Adventure" world that promises to elevate the festival experience to new heights. Riot Fest, while reluctant to leave its longtime home in Chicago, made the difficult decision to relocate due to issues with the Park District, which paved the way for RiotLand, a 3-day version of which will be explorable on the Riot Fest website starting tomorrow. Friday brings the return of hometown favorites, Fall Out Boy, making their first appearance at the festival since they first reunited at 2013's edition. Saturday brings indie rock favorites, Beck and a very rare performance from Pavement. Closing out the festival on Sunday is a force that cannot be reckoned with - a reunion performance by metal legends, Slayer!

NOFX will be performing all three days of the festival as Riot Fest bids them a final farewell surrounded by many of their peers and contemporaries like Pennywise, Descendents, and Circle Jerks. (continue)
