GHOST, the GRAMMY-winning, chart-topping, and arena-headlining band known for their fiercely loyal fanbase and theatrical rock performances, is unleashing their hit debut feature film RITE HERE RITE NOW on home audiences everywhere following a record-smashing Top 10 worldwide box office performance, grossing over $5M across its four-day expanded release in cinemas.

Streaming platform Veeps, which also debuted in its role as studio on the film, has announced an exclusive global online premiere of RITE HERE RITE NOW on Saturday, July 20, 2024. In addition to transporting viewers from their couches to the stage-and backstage-of Los Angeles' Kia Forum, the Veeps premiere will add to the rock n roll cinematic event of the summer: the RITE HERE RITE NOW stream will feature an exclusive In Conversation with GHOST mastermind Tobias Forge, Co-Director Alex Ross Perry, and live director Jim Parsons captured at the film's London premiere and will be available to all fans worldwide. Seether and Skillet are headed out on the road together this fall. The tour kicks off on September 17 in Asheville, NC and runs through October 20 in Minneapolis, MN.

Duff McKagan is excited to announce his special guests for his upcoming Lighthouse Tour '24, including exclusive performances from iconic punk legends Lee Ving and Joe Keithley. The eagerly awaited headline run gets underway September 30 at Dublin, Ireland's The Academy and then makes stops in Scotland, England, the Netherlands, Germany, Czech Republic, Poland, Italy, Switzerland, Belgium, France, and Sweden through late October. After a 15 year hiatus, Sunset Rubdown announces their new album "Always Happy To Explode" to be released on Spencer Krug's own label Pronounced Kroog on September 20th, 2024. The new release will be supported by a North American tour running from October 10th to October 30th, 2024.

Twenty years ago, Spencer Krug began Sunset Rubdown as a solo project for his low-fi recordings, distinct from his work with Wolf Parade. By 2005, it evolved into a full band with Michael Doerksen, Jordan Robson-Cramer, and Camilla Wynne. They released their third critically-acclaimed album, Dragon Slayer, in 2008 and played their final show in Tokyo in 2009. (continue)

Sammy Hagar says that he and his Van Halen bandmate Michael Anthony reached out to Alex Van Halen to ask him to take part in their upcoming The Best Of Both Worlds Tour that celebrates Van Halen's legacy, but Alex did not respond.

The tour will be kicking off later this week, July 13th in West Palm Beach, FL at the iTHINK Financial Amphitheatre. Hagar spoke to Ultiimate Classic Rock ahead of the trek and that is where he broke the sad news that Alex did not answer when they attempted to invite him to be part of the tour. (continue)

Columbia Records and Legacy Recordings, the catalog division of Sony Music Entertainment, will release The 1974 Live Recordings on Friday, September 20, celebrating the 50th anniversary of Bob Dylan's return to touring that year. Featuring all professionally recorded shows from the artist's 1974 performances backed by The Band, the collection will be available as a deluxe box set across 27 CDs. The 1974 Live Recordings offers fans 417 previously-unreleased Bob Dylan live tracks - including 133 recordings newly mixed from 16-track tape, and every single surviving soundboard recording - along with new liner notes by journalist and critic Elizabeth Nelson.

In conjunction with The 1974 Live Recordings, Third Man Records has announced the September release of The 1974 Live Recordings - The Missing Songs From Before the Flood, a 3-LP / 1 x 7-inch set culled from the same recordings, featuring hand selected versions of every song Bob Dylan recorded that was not included on the original 1974 live album. As I Lay Dying are celebrating tonight's launch of their U.S. headline tour with the release of their brand new single and video "The Cave We Fear To Enter", which is the follow-up to their first new song in five years "Burden".

Freeman Promotions sent over the following details: The lyrical concept behind "The Cave We Fear To Enter" began with an idea from bass player/vocalist Ryan Neff, inspiring vocalist Tim Lambesis to develop the lyrical message further. The balladic track begins pensively before charging into an emotive melodic metalcore opus. Like "Burden", the new track was co-produced by guitarist Phil Sgrosso and Hiram Hernandez, mixed by Aaron Chaparian and mastered by Ted Jensen. (continue)
