Due to overwhelming demand, Pink Floyd legend David Gilmour today announced an additional US live show in Los Angeles at the Intuit Dome on Friday, October 25th. Fans will need to sign up at davidgilmour.com for early access to tickets from 10am PT on Wednesday, June 12. The tickets will go on sale to the general public on Friday, June 14 at 10am PT.
The Intuit Dome show, along with three nights at the Hollywood Bowl and five nights at Madison Square Garden in New York City are Gilmour's first American shows in eight years and are in support of his new album 'Luck and Strange', to be released on September 6, 2024 on Sony Music. (continue)

This extends the band's 2023 record of holding the longest streak of #1's in the chart's history. "This Is the Way" is the first #1 on the Mainstream Rock Airplay chart for legendary late rapper DMX and his very first appearance on the chart altogether. OTTTO and Bastardane have announced The Reconquest Tour, a 24-date trek across North America that sees Bastardane perform songs from their recently released album, Catatonic Symphony, and serves as the debut tour for OTTTO's new singer, Tito Dutta.

It is the thirty-fifth anniversary of Flowers in the Dirt, a pivotal June 1989 release by the incomparable Paul McCartney. As rock music and culture exploded in so many places and in so many ways in the Eighties, nevertheless the decade was particularly problematic for many of the giants of rock and roll's British Invasion, the second generation of rock, even Paul McCartney. By late in the decade The Beatles had been twenty years gone down the long and winding road. The Rolling Stones, The Who, Led Zeppelin, and Pink Floyd were either on hiatus, in court, broken up completely, or not speaking to one another. Yet standing on the threshold of the final decade of the 20th century, something remarkable was stirring worldwide, the likes of which we had not witnessed in the twenty years since Americans first walked upon the Moon and Jimi Hendrix played the "Star Spangled Banner" as the Sun rose over Woodstock.
