Head Automatica, who returned this fall after a 15-year hiatus, have unexpectedly released a new song, "Bear The Cross", a moody new track that serves as the ever-evolving electronic pop band's first new music in nearly two decades.

"To me, 'Bear The Cross' is both a logical and unexpected evolution of Head Automatica's sound," Daryl Palumbo shares. "The sounds and ideas are very familiar but age undeniably changes your personality, creative leanings and approach. There is an urgency and boldness in what you feel empowered to produce after a certain point. 'Bear The Cross," and our new material on the whole are a reflection of that while still constantly maintaining a body moving element." (continue)

System Of A Down frontman Serj Tankian has released a brand new music video for his new solo single "A.F. Day", a track that originated back in the early days of SOAD.

He explains, "This is a song I wrote in the early days of System Of A Down that I never released. The majority of the instrumentation and vocals are recordings from that time. Dystopian in mood, the song is a reflection of the angst and anti-authoritarian attitude I had to conformity." (continue)

There is something so historic about the earliest recordings of Neil Young with Crazy Horse that even the most devoted fans of Young and that pivotal band cannot contain their excitement when new releases are scheduled. EARLY DAZE, to be released for the first time on June 28, 2024 and already the excitement is peaking. Maybe that's because the music the band performs has never been collected on one album like this set. The song line-up includes some of the most iconic originals by Neil Young, and several with contributions by band guitarist Danny Whitten. It is Young's first band after the breakup of Buffalo Springfield, and set one of the highmarks of rock & roll at the end of the 1960s when all these songs were written.

When the Crazy Horse band first came together, it featured Danny Whitten (guitar and vocals), Ralph Molina (drums and vocals) Billy Talbot (bass and vocals) and Jack Nitzsche (keyboards, Tambourine and vocals). It was a band that was immediately spoken of with high excitement, and allowed Young's new original songs to find an open runway for taking off new directions. Their early lives shows immediately set a new standard for rock & roll groups, and with Young's new original songs like "Dance Dance Dance," "Come on Baby Let's Go Downtown," "Cinnamon Girl" and "Down by the River," the aggregation immediately took on a fevered following across America and beyond. Nashville-based trio, The Band Camino have surprised fans with the release of a brand new EP entitled "Bruises". The EP is highlighted by their new single "Nostalgia," which debuted on SiriusXM's ALT Nation "Advanced Placement" earlier this week.

Commenting on the EP, The Band CAMINO explained, "Fresh starts are hard to come by when you've been a band for 9 years and almost all of your 20's, but this release truly feels like one. Honestly for a while it felt like we were chasing something. Having a fan base and any amount of success puts this pressure on your art and it's easy to start chasing and predicting what you think people are going to like. But in this next chapter we've decided we aren't chasing anything at all - just expressing. Making something you connect with is far more fulfilling and the only reason we found our footing as a band in the first place. Just know we feel these songs in our bones and we have a feeling someone out there will too." (continue)
