Imagine Dragons have released a brand-new genre-smashing single entitled "Eyes Closed" (KIDinaKORNER/Interscope) along with an accompanying music video.
This future-facing anthem co-mingles elements of alternative, rap, electronic, and rock. Industrial production bumps beneath deftly rhymed verses laced with swaggering attitude. Against a backdrop of gritty hip-hop beat-craft spiked with jarring synths and string swells, frontman Dan Reynolds charges forward with unapologetic and uncompromising cadences that culminates with a confident proclamation, "I could do this with my eyes closed." Glass Animals announces details of their fourth studio album, I Love You So F***ing Much, to be released on July 19th via Republic Records. The album is introduced by the band's new single, "Creatures in Heaven".
"I love you so f***ing much, I LOVE YOU SO F***ING MUCH, I love you SO f***ing MUCH, I love you so F***ING much, I LOVE you so f***ing MUCH. These words take on a different meaning every time you say them. The universe may make us feel overwhelmingly small, but we have this human connection that is far vaster and more mysterious. Love comes in an infinite number of forms and shapes and sizes. It is so complex, and so powerful that even witnessing the tiniest instance of it can change your life forever." - Dave Bayley (continue)
The tape is on the floor... Marley, the swordfish, is out of his road case... The walls of the hard concrete space are covered with massive screens... and country music's most high-velocity band has reported for duty. Kenny Chesney, who has spent the last several weeks moving from cutting video to sorting through light cues, working up songs with his band and setting up BORN, his first new project in four years, is starting to bring it all together in anticipation of the first show of his Sun Goes Down 2024 Tour at Tampa's Raymond James Stadium.
"This is where it all starts to really feel real," Chesney says with a laugh. "We've got the stage and the T taped off. We have room to really play off each other and jam while we're dialing the songs back in. But even more, all the teams are together, and we're catching up after so many months off! When you've got a road family like I do, it's a rush just being together." (continue)
