Sony Pictures Entertainment (SPE), Sam Mendes, and Neal Street Productions have announced that they are producing biopics about each member the Beatles, with each film telling the legendary group's story from the different perspectives of John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr.
Sam Mendes is leading the project for the four biopics and he is best known as the director the James Bond films, "Skyfall" and "Spectre", as well as "American Beauty" and "1917". (continue)
Rock veterans Kansas have announced that Phil Ehart is recovering from a "major heart attack" and will be unable to join the band on the road for their upcoming Kansas 50th Anniversary Tour - Another Fork in The Road trek.
The band shared the news via social media. They wrote, "Kansas original drummer and band manager, Phil Ehart, is taking time away from touring as drummer for Kansas while he recovers after recently surviving a major heart attack. There is no timetable for his return to the road. (continue)
Legendary original KISS guitarist appeared on a new episode of The Rock Experience With Mike Brunn to promote his new album, "10,000 Volts", and during the chat he revealed how much the dynamics of KISS changed with the departure of original drummer Peter Criss.
Ace was asked if he has found it easier to maintain his sobriety away from the group and he responded, "It's a lot easier being sober away from those guys. August Burns Red have announced that they will be hitting the road this May for a short trek that they have dubbed "Spring Fling 2024" which will feature support from Fuming Mouth.
The tour will be kicking off on May 10th in Birmingham, AL at Iron City and will wrap up on May 15th in Chattanooga, TN at The Signal. The tour will be bookended with appearances at the Welcome To Rockville Festival and Sonic Temple. (continue)
Bayside have shared their brand new single "The Devils' to announce that they will be releasing their new studio album, "There Are Worse Things Than Being Alive" digitally on April 5th, followed by a physical release on May 10th.
Frontman Anthony Raneri had this to say about the new song, "We just wanted to write a ripper that keeps you on your toes. The chant was a melody that I kept humming to myself when I was walking my dogs. I put some words to it and we were going to use it as a bridge. Prog rock legends Yes have released a brand new music video for an edited version of the title track to their 2023 album, "Mirror In The Sky," as they prepare to release a new Limited 2CD+Blu-ray Digipak edition of the album on April 5.
