The Piano Man Billy Joel has announced some brand new live dates for 2024 including two special one night only stadium shows, one with Fleetwood Mac legend Stevie Nicks and the second with Police frontman Sting.
Joel and Stevie Nicks will be taking the stage at Soldier Field in Chicago, Il on Friday, June 21. Citi presale on Monday, Jan 8 @ 10am. Tickets go on sale to the general public Friday, Jan 12 @ 10am. (continue)
Sharon Osbourne says that the famed Ozzfest touring metal festival could return in the future, but one sticking point is the cost that is demanded of mainstage acts.
She made the comments on the latest episode of The Osbournes podcast with her husband Ozzy, son Jack and daughter Kelly. Ozzy asked Sharon if she would consider doing another Ozzfest tour and she responded, "Yeah, sure. Of course." (continue)
Oasis' Liam Gallagher has teamed up with John Squire of The Stone Roses as they release their first single together, "Just Another Rainbow," with more new music to follow as the year unfolds.
About the collaboration, John says, "To me the most obvious take on 'Just Another Rainbow' is that it's about disappointment, and the sentiment is that you never get what you really want. But I don't like to explain songs, I think that's the privilege of the listener, it's whatever you want it to be. To me, it's also one of the most uplifting tracks we've made together, which is weird." (continue)

Dirty Heads spent the summer touring across the U.S. on the headlining "Island Glow" tour and are excited to share a new live- recorded version of their hit single "John Linen" which features rapper Yelawolf who was featured as an opening act on the first leg of the tour.

Bela Fleck is sharing "Rhapsody in Blue(grass)" from his upcoming album Rhapsody in Blue, an homage to the legendary composer George Gershwin that expands and explores an American classic. Available February 12, a hundred years to the day Gershwin premiered "Rhapsody in Blue" at Aeolian Hall in New York City. Featuring the core band from his Grammy-winning My Bluegrass Heart, the single also commemorates the 100th birthday of the great Earl Scruggs.
"One day while on tour with My Bluegrass Heart, surrounded by these geniuses, a thought occurred to me - "Rhapsody in Blue(grass)?!" I kept the thought to myself, realizing it was either the greatest idea or possibly the very worst I had ever thought of," Fleck admits. "But it wouldn't go away. When we started to actually explore it, I realized that it actually sounded quite good. With the bluegrass version, we had the opportunity to stretch out, have some fun and make some different creative moves." Fleck is joined by his My Bluegrass Heart band: Michael Cleveland, Sierra Hull, Justin Moses, Mark Schatz and Bryan Sutton. (continue)
Swans have today announced a United States tour for April and May 2024, following European dates. The band SOLD OUT all but two of their 2023 North American tour.
The tour details, which are shared on the heels of a triumphant tour across Europe, N America, and the UK, will see the current incarnation of Swans perform- starting from April 12 through to mid-May. (continue)
Rock singer-songwriter Tristan Tritt today announced a co-headlining tour with New Jersey's America Part Two, following the release of his new single "No Filter" earlier this Fall. Tickets are on sale this Friday, December 8.
The 11-date tour will kick off on February 22, 2024 at Aisle 5 in Atlanta, GA and will take Tristan and America Part Two through the Southern US, ultimately finishing on March 9 at New Brookland Tavern in Columbia, SC. (continue)

The guitar was acquired by Mitsuru Sato who bid via the phone at the auction held at Hard Rock Cafe Nashville. Sato, a Japan based businessman plans to open a cafe with museum style exhibitions to display the Skystang I, along with other famous musical instruments, giving access to the public to potentially engage with them.
