Northlane have shared their expansive new single, "Dante," along with a music video. "Dante" is the first piece of new music since the release of their #1 album Obsidian (2022) and signals a new era for the four-piece.
"Dante" was originally written by guitarist and songwriter Jon Deiley as a pure dance track not intended for Northlane. The band spent a year developing the song to fit their signature sound, resulting in an emotionally heavy track carried by a compulsive beat that opens up to a panoramic chorus. (continue)
Placebo are today announcing the Placebo Live box set, an extensive collection of career-spanning performances captured in Mexico, Spain and London, that will be released on December 15th. Remarkably, more than 25 years in their career, the set includes the first live album that band have ever released - Collapse Into Never: Placebo Live In Europe 2023.
Placebo Live also marks the first time that any live performances from the band have been made available on vinyl. Across the whole collection, vinyl, Blu-Ray and CD formats are catered to from three special live sets titled Collapse Into Never, This Is What You Wanted and Live From The White Room. Even though it's the opening track of the album, "The Edge" was actually one of the last songs we wrote and one that really hits home for us. I remember when we were writing it - Arc just randomly started singing some of the chorus on the demo track. After hearing it, Eris loved it and quickly jumped in and finished the lyrics. We both knew we hit on something super meaningful to us. (continue)
