Supreme Unbeing gave fans a special treat on Halloween with the release of their single and video "Scarecrow". To celebrate we asked Band leader and vocalist, Zac Red, to tell us about the track. Here is the story:
Scarecrow emerged from the depths of my mind during a sauna meditation session a few years ago. As I delved into the transcendent realm, in the warm and cozy confines of the sauna, a curious incident shattered the tranquility. It was a peculiar sound, reminiscent of a colossal accordion that had haunted my childhood nightmares. (continue)
We are pleased to premiere Heather Anne Lomax's new video for her duet with the late Michael Doman called "Bits And Pieces", which comes from her just released album "The Doman Tracks" that arrived this past Friday, November 1st.
The album features previously unreleased songs that Heather recorded with Michael, who was best known as the singer-songwriter-producer of the noted '80s L.A. rock band Broken Homes.
Heather said of this duet, "I remember asking Michael to sing 'Bits And Pieces 'with me as a duet. For some reason I felt intuitively that he should sing it with me, initially he just wanted me to sing it alone. He finally acquiesced and that is what you hear as the second track on the record. As fate would have it, the duet version of 'Bits And Pieces' became much more of a poignant song to me after Michael's passing. (continue)

Motorhead have released the special 40th anniversary deluxe editions of their 1983 album, "Another Perfect Day". Adrenaline sent over the following details: Always the most controversial album in Motorhead's catalogue, Another Perfect Day was up against it from the start. After former Thin Lizzy guitarist Brian Robertson replaced Fast Eddie Clarke, the band's sixth studio album presented what Lemmy called a more "musical" approach, the classic line-up's full-tilt ferocity harnessed to more traditional guitar rock tropes enhanced by carefully crafted production.
In 1983, it was initially startling to hear Lemmy and Phil's patent hell-bound express draped in Robbo's effects-laden multi-storey guitar overdubs instead of getting hot-wired by Eddie's deceptively complex thermonuclear blues riffs and embellishments. Following the likewise lambasted Iron Fist and its reappraisal, Another Perfect Day stands before us forty years on from the turbulent time that spawned it as an inevitably divisive one-off chapter in Motorhead's chaotic early history. Florida-based melodic skate punkers The Sons Of James recently released a new single called "Boswell". To celebrate we asked Steven Blair to tell us about the track. Here is the story:
I was sipping a cup of coffee at the dinning room table early on a Saturday morning at home in NC, gathering my thoughts and reviewing the last month or so of life (as I often do on Saturdays before anyone else in the house wakes up). It had been kind of a rough month. I had received news that a friend was dealing with some addiction issues, a family member had pretty much lost their life savings, we were in the middle of some band hurdles, the company I was working for was making some changes and everything was sort of looking grayish. As I was sorting through the work stuff I was thinking about some of the things my boss had been saying and the way he runs his department. (continue)
