Slipknot and Stone Sour frontman Corey Taylor has released a lyric video for his brand new song "Talk Sick", which is the third new single from his forthcoming solo album, "CMF2".
"That sick guitar at the beginning, I played that through a speaker about the size of a coffee cup. It made it sound violent; you feel like you're being stung by bees who are playing along to the Sex Pistols," says Taylor about the track. "There's an element of spiritual regurgitation, trying to purge yourself of demons that have been clinging to you because of prior relationships, romantic or otherwise. You realize those people bring a certain a**hole side out of you that you don't necessarily want in your life. It's about trying to lance that boil and get that sickness out of you." (continue)
TesseracT have released a visualizer for their new single "The Grey", and have launched immersive video game called "War Of Being". Atom Splitter shared the following details:
"The Grey" builds on signature grooves that undulate in TesseracT's sound, flanked by polyrhythmic rhythms tied together by the band's iconic melodies. It's yet another example of the multi-faceted appeal of their sound and proves that they can craft immediate and affecting tracks just as masterfully as their epic 11-minute opuses. (continue)

"This is about us individuals whose behavior is or has been akin to chain-smoking in a fireworks factory," says frontman Art Geezar. "To those who've had to endure such souls as us, I truly apologize. Yet, for the unacquainted, may you believe this speaks of another tale entirely." (continue)

Evile have shared a lyric video for their new single "Monolith", the latest track from the group's brand new album, "The Unknown", which hit stores last month.
"Our 4th single from 'The Unknown' is the juggernaut called 'Monolith'," EVILE frontman OL Drake comments. "This song started after Adam sent over the main riff and we got to work on building on it. Our aim was for something menacing and dark, and this might be a contender for my favourite track on the album. The song itself is based on a recurring nightmare I used to have when I was young. I had it for months on end and it always featured this monolith presence with eyes at its base. I would be terrified to go to sleep in case I have it again. Enjoy the chug!" (continue)

Toronto Rockers The Man Who recently released their take on the Cranberries classic "Dreams". To celebrate, we asked them to tell us about the track. Here is the story:
We didn't set out to do a cover song, the song just found us. We had been working on new music from a small studio we set up at a cottage in southern Ontario. It was one of those magical weeks where music was just pouring out of us. We were having so much fun and vibing and not stressing about the results. We wrote some of our favourite songs to date during this time. (continue)
