Ghost Hounds are back with the perfect song to dance into summer. Today, they've released a new song, "Make It Shake," off their upcoming album.
On their inspiration behind "Make It Shake," the band explains, "Over the years we've been fortunate enough to tour with The Rolling Stones, which was absolutely surreal and a major inspiration for us. Opening for them was really a do-or-die moment - we knew that we had to go on stage and get the crowd moving to show them what we're all about. 'Make It Shake' is all about that feeling of crafting an irresistible song that just makes people want to get up and dance." (continue)

Like Moths To Flames have dropped the visualizer for new single "I Found The Dark Side of Heaven." The song is like a battering ram from start to finish, with gritty guitars, squealing riffs, and guttural screams anchoring the song's self-reflective concept.
"Over the last few years, a lot of us have felt like shells of our former selves," says Chris Roetter. "This is for the people who feel like they've been pushed so far away that no one sees them. I think it's easy to feel forgotten about and like you didn't matter. Some of my darkest days were an abyss that was never ending. When it's difficult to find anything to pull you out, sometimes you just have to accept that you're stuck." (continue)

Trev Lukather has released a music video for his new song 'The Sound', which is the first official single released off of forthcoming debut solo album. 'The Sound' is a retro, modern 80s arena anthem with a strong message behind it.
Lukather about the song: "The Sound is about hope of unity during a brutal time of division. We are so lost in our phones and ourselves. Lack of communication. War. Loss of freedom. Loss of human rights. Racism. Political meltdowns. Misinformation. Deadly earthquakes. We are derailing literally and figuratively. I wanted to send a message of how we are all on this floating speck in the universe together trying to find the meaning of why we are here. The reality is, no one is better than anyone else. We are on the same level. If that was more clear to everyone, we wouldn't have so much hate in our hearts. If we knew how small we are, it would be liberating, not debilitating." (continue)
Peter Lewis of the legendary Moby Grape shares "Frank Zappa's Ghost," a jazzy, trippy nightmare from his upcoming album Imagination, out June 16th.
"That was one of those songs that came to me in a dream. What I woke up hearing was the hook; In other words, the part(s) where I sing "Franks Zappa's Ghost" with the underlying chords. The rest was pretty much crafted. The idea of adding "the right of spring section" as a bridge was to bring in an ethereal (contrasting) mood to the arrangement, like something Zappa might do." - Peter Lewis (continue)

Chattanooga hard rockers SevenStones recently released their new album, "Hurt Turns Into Hate". To celebrate we asked Drew Elliott to tell us about one of the new songs and he selected "Fly Or Fall". Here is the story:
Usually for me as a songwriter, I lean into personal experiences and I'm able to channel feelings from the past of what I've been through or have witnessed. Fly or Fall is no exception with one difference of my lyrics being in more of positive light. The bouncing guitar riff with bass and drums following the same energy put me into a brighter approach to the writing process. (continue)
