Greta Van Fleet have shared a new single entitled "Meeting The Master" and revealed that they will be releasing their third studio album, "Starcatcher," on July 21st.
They had this to say about the new single, "'Meeting The Master' peers into an esoteric world heeded by the word of a wise teacher. Sung in the voice of a devout believer, and eventual group exclamation, the song details the love these fervent followers have for their teacher and their firm belief in his vision. Metallica have announced that they will be appearing on The Howard Stern Show next week in the lead up to the release of their new studio album, "72 Seasons", which is set to hit stores on April 14th.

The multi-platinum band's fifth authorized Soundboard live release comes from the November 28th, 1984 Animalize Tour show at the Mid-Hudson Arena in Poughkeepsie, NY, featuring the only known soundboard recording with guitarist Mark St. John. While the tracks "Young And Wasted" and "Rock And Roll All Nite" from this historic show are incomplete due to a tape change and tape space - these recordings were originally for archival use - this live recording is of historical importance due to St. John's appearance. Steely Dan's sprawling 1973 sophomore LP, Countdown To Ecstasy, with such standouts as "Bodhisattva," "Show Biz Kids" and "My Old School," sung by founding member Donald Fagen who took over as lead vocalist, will return to vinyl on May 26th via Geffen/UMe, continuing the extensive reissue program of the band's classic ABC and MCA Records catalog. The series, which began in November 2022 with the Dan's legendary debut LP, Can't Buy A Thrill, is being personally overseen by Fagen, and returns the group's first seven records to vinyl, most of which haven't been available since their original release.
Countdown To Ecstasy has been meticulously remastered by Bernie Grundman from the original analog tapes and will be pressed on 180-gram black vinyl at 33 1/3 RPM. Additionally, the album has just been released as a limited edition premium 45 RPM version on Ultra High-Quality Vinyl (UHQR) from Analogue Productions, the audiophile in-house reissue label of Acoustic Sounds. Analogue Productions is also releasing this series of titles on Super Audio CD (SACD). (continue)
Hawthorne Heights, who brought the inaugural year of "Is For Lovers Festival" to three cities (Wichita, Denver and Cincinnati) in 2022, have expanded the Summer extravaganza to eight locations for 2023: Hawaii (April 29), Lake Tahoe (June 24), Denver (July 22), Manteo, N.C. (July 29), Council Bluffs (Aug. 19 & 20), Cincinnati (Sept. 9), Pelham, Tenn. (Sept. 10), and Mansfield, Mass. (Sept. 17).

CA: Originally, Undone was titled Panic Attack. We decided to scrap that though, cause it was a bit too obvious. The energetic distorted guitars, crazy drums, and gut wrenching bass lines are meant to mimic the feelings and steps of a psychotic breakdown. (continue)
