Following the release of their explosive debut mixtape "Loud Without Noise", and their visually stunning "Loud & With Noise" Live Sessions, Crawlers are signalling a new musical chapter with the release of their reminiscent new single "That Time Of Year Always" via Interscope Records. To the tune of a driving guitar line and crashing drums, across the track lead singer Holly Minto adopts reminiscent lyricism to tell a story of love and loss in blissful hindsight.
On the inspirations behind the new track Minto shares, "That Time Of Year Always encompasses the feeling of envying your younger self before the trauma hits in your early 20's. It's about missing the ignorance that you had in your childhood; that reflection process which usually happens for me during the winter seasons. Being older, you realise that despite thinking these thoughts stem from seasonal depression, it's normal to feel that longing for your youth all year round, and to constantly have your younger self in mind when reminiscing about what once was". Spark Of Life have shared a brand new single called "Memmer?... U Memmer!". Here is the announcement: They say you have your entire life to write your first record, and only months to complete your second. But for Spark Of Life, the malleable post-hardcore band that formed in the suburbs of Los Angeles almost 25 years ago, this life has been anything but predictable.
The band, singer Steve Jennings and guitarist Nicholas Piscitello, resurfaced earlier this year with shimmering single "Song Of Hope", which featured drum work from actor and musician Fred Armisen. Today, the band releases "Memmer?... U Memmer!", a punchy love song that sees the band exploring a skate punk sound akin to bands like Good Riddance and Pulley. Both tracks stem from a split 7 inch with fellow California melodic punk band Freewill. (continue)

Island Records and Interscope are today celebrating the news that Songs Of Surrender, the latest release from U2, has topped the Official Albums Chart in the UK, making it their 11th UK #1 album. The album debuted on the U.S. charts at #1 on Album, Rock, Alternative and Vinyl charts as well as #5 on the Top 200 chart. The record also secured the #1 chart position at home in Ireland as well as Italy, Germany, Holland and Belgium, with Songs Of Surrender also hitting #1 on iTunes in 35 countries around the world.
The success of Songs Of Surrender rounds off a busy period for the band. The idea for an acoustic, reimagined album had been around for a while but it was the time afforded by lockdown which allowed The Edge to focus on the project, with band recording sessions taking place parallel to Bono working on his New York Times and Sunday Times-bestselling memoir 'Surrender: 40 Songs, One Story', published last November. 'Stories Of Surrender' followed later that same month, Bono's acclaimed theatre tour in support of the book that saw the U2 frontman bring the stories of his life to 14 cities across North America and Europe in a show The Guardian declared "a triumph"; with a return to the Beacon Theatre in New York for a further run of dates starting next month. To mark the release of the album, a Disney+ special titled 'Bono & The Edge: A Sort Of Homecoming, with Dave Letterman' premiered on St. Patrick's Day, capturing Dave Letterman on his first visit to Ireland to spend time with Bono and The Edge in their hometown, experience Dublin, and join the two U2 musicians for a concert performance unlike any they've done before. A Super Bowl commercial in February announced the band's next ambitious project - titled 'U2:UV Achtung Baby Live At The Sphere' - which will see the world's biggest rock band launch the world's most exciting all-new state-of-the-art venue later this year.
