(hennemusic) KISS manager Doc McGhee has confirmed the band will be featured in a new biopic tentatively entitled "Shout It Out Loud."
"It's a biopic about the first four years of KISS," McGhee tells The Rock Experience With Mike Brunn. "We're just starting it now. We've already sold it, it's already done, we have a director, McGhee [Entertainment]. That's moving along and that'll come in '24." (continue)
(hennemusic) Queen and Adam Lambert have announced dates for a fall North American leg of their ongoing Rhapsody tour. The series - which launched in 2019 - returns to the continent for a month of arena concert dates starting October 4 in Baltimore, MD that will wrap up at BMO Stadium in Los Angeles, CA on November 11.
"Our last tour featured our most ambitious production ever," says Brian May. "So we decided to rip it apart and get even more ambitious. Watch out world."

Fall Out Boy celebrated the release their 8th studio album "So Much (For) Stardust," by revealed the music video for a brand new track "Hold Me Like a Grudge" - the continuation to "This Ain't A Scene (It's an Arms Race)" and third in the trilogy of Fall Out Boy music videos that began with "Dance Dance."
Directed by Brendan Walter, the video follows an alternate timeline in which Pete breaks his leg after jumping off the stage at the end of the "This Ain't A Scene (It's an Arms Race)" video. (continue)

Designers Storm Thorgerson and Aubrey Powell of Hipgnosis share the story behind the inspiration and creation of the 1973 project's iconic cover, with Powell explaining the challenge of its legacy and presenting it as part of the 2023 reissue, with help from Harry Pearce, graphic designer at UK agency Pentagram. Due April 28, the project is an expanded reissue of the band's 2008 album, "Good To Be Bad", which marked Whitesnake's first studio record following the group's original farewell tour in 1997, after which they disbanded before reforming for live shows again in 2003. (continue)

Tyler Booth shared a new track today, "Bring On The Neon," was penned by Booth along with Jamey Johnson and Jeremy Popoff, known from the band Lit ("My Own Worst Enemy"). Booth met Popoff after he was sitting in the audience one day while Booth was performing at Fox & Locke in Leiper's Fork, TN. Popoff decided to introduce Booth to his good friend, Jamey Johnson, who also happens to be one of Booth's biggest inspirations. Shortly after, the three came together and wrote "Bring On The Neon."
Booth shared, "It's sort of a full circle song for me because it's about chasing your dreams. Growing up, Jamey probably influenced me more than anyone. Listening to his music took me down the path of Waylon, Willie, Cash, Hank, etc., so writing with Jamey and getting to know him and Popoff really is a dream come true." (continue)

As the band combed the Meteora archives, Mike Shinoda knew the hard-hitting instrumental for "Fighting Myself" was awaiting discovery but was surprised to uncover vocal stems of himself and Chester Bennington. He then gave the multitrack a deft mix and the song in its final form emerged as what Shinoda calls "a definitive Linkin Park track." Now, it seethes with Shinoda's incisive verses boosted by bruising distorted guitars as Bennington's chorus rings out, "Fighting myself I always lose." (continue)

Kip Moore has released a brand-new song and music video, "Kinda Bar," from his forthcoming fifth studio album DAMN LOVE. Co-written by Moore and Dan Couch, and co-produced with Jaren Johnston (The Cadillac Three), the refreshing track conjures magic from a roadside tavern, feeding souls with the same lighthearted twang as "Somethin' 'Bout a Truck." The music video for the song (directed by PJ Brown) serves as the prequel to Moore's recently released video for "Damn Love," showing Moore and his love interest's meet cute.
"Kinda Bar" is the second track from Moore's forthcoming project DAMN LOVE, out April 28.
