(hennemusic) Def Leppard drummer Rick Allen reportedly suffered a head injury after allegedly being assaulted outside a Florida hotel on March 13.

According to an arrest report, obtained by TMZ, Allen was smoking a cigarette outside the Four Seasons Hotel in Fort Lauderdale Beach when 19-year-old suspect Max Hartley ran towards him at full speed, striking the rocker and knocking him backward and slamming his head on the ground. (continue)

(hennemusic) Van Halen frontman David Lee Roth revisits the circumstances of his reported retirement on the latest episode of The Roth Show.

The rocker - who announced in late 2021 that he would retire from music - has continued to share new recordings from a spring 2022 session at Henson Studios in Los Angeles that mixes Van Halen songs with covers. (continue)

The Devil Wears Prada have shared a video for their track, "Reaching", which is one of the ten new songs that will be included on the forthcoming deluxe edition of their "Color Decay" album.

Frontman Mike Hranica said of the song, "'Reaching' is a song about unapologetic growth. I feel we often hear songs of resilience and strength that don't really cover the dirty, harder times. It takes struggle and failure to better oneself, and I think that's the soul of this tune." (continue)

Due April 28, the 2023 editions will be available in three distinct configurations, including the (1) Super Deluxe Edition, (2) one-LP Picture Disc Edition, and (3) Dolby Atmos Digital Edition. Skott just released her sophomore album, "Roses N Guns" and to celebrate we asked her to tell us about the album's title track. Here is the story:

"Roses N Guns" comes from a wordplay on my name "Skott". In Swedish, Skott means both "sprout" and "gunshot", which is represented by a rosebud and a gun. The themes of life versus death, and love versus heartbreak. And these themes run throughout the songs on my album, which has the same name as the song. (continue)
