Def Leppard shared a new message from frontman Joe Elliott to update fans about his brief hospitalization in Bogota, Columbia on Friday (February 24th), where he explained that he was suffering from "moderate-to-severe altitude sickness.

Joe updated fans with a video from the Parque Simon Bolivar, the venue where the band was preparing to take the stage on the Bogota stop of The World Tour with Motley Crue. He shared, "So I am alive and well. Little woozy, I'll be honest.

"Moderate-to-severe altitude sickness. I would hate to know what 'severe' altitude sickness [is]; I wouldn't wanna wish it on my worst enemy. But here I am... Apparently the Internet lit up, so I'm here to put everybody that cares about it minds at rest. I'm here, and we're going on at 8 p.m." (continue)

Fear Factory were forced to cancel their appearance at the first stop of the Rise Of The Machine Tour with Static-X on Saturday (February 25th), after a road closure due to weather conditions in California prevented them from reaching The Fillmore in San Francisco, CA from southern California.

Guitarist Dino Cazares broke the news to fans with the following statement, "Due to extreme weather conditions here in California Fear Factory will not make the first show on the 'Rise Of The Machine' tour at the Fillmore in San Francisco. (continue)

Original Saliva frontman Josey Scott is launching a new band called Shade Violent that features his stepson Dylan on rhythm guitar, and friends from his home in Oklahoma.

Scott broke the news during an interview with That Fuzzing Rock Show. He said (via Blabbermouth), We're just in the process of writing the record right now. And we're just now getting in the studio and starting to figure some things out. We've done a couple of shows, a couple of start-up shows... But, yeah, we're just getting it together and sort of sussing things out." (continue)

(hennemusic) Whitesnake will release an expanded reissue of their 2008 album, "Good To Be Bad", on April 28. Billed as "Still Good To Be Bad" and arriving in sync with the project's 15th anniversary, the 4CD/1Blue-ray Super Deluxe Edition delivers two new versions of the original album (one remastered and the other newly-remixed), a selection of rare and unreleased studio and live recordings from the period, and videos all the music videos and interviews, and some live performances from the world tour in support of the project.

The original album marked Whitesnake's first studio record following the group's original farewell tour in 1997, after which they disbanded before reforming for live shows again in 2003. (continue)

Def Leppard took to social media on Saturday (February 25th) to assure fans that they would be taking the stage for the Bogota, Columbia stop of their The World Tour with Motley Crue after frontman Joe Elliott was briefly hospitalized Friday evening after experiencing breathing issues.

The band had not commented on Elliott's condition or his hospitalization, but issued the reassurance that the show at the Parque Simon Bolivar will go on as scheduled tonight. (continue)

(hennemusic) Motorhead is streaming an expanded reissue of their final studio album, 2015's "Bad Magic", in sync with its release on February 24th.

Billed as "Bad Magic: Seriously Bad Magic", the 2023 reissue has been expanded with the addition of two previously-unreleased tracks - "Bullet In Your Brain" and "Greedy Bastards" - as well as a live recording from the subsequent tour at the giant Mt. Fuji Festival in Japan in 2015. (continue)

Kip Moore has shared a brand new song called "Damn Love", to announce that he will be releasing his fifth studio album, also entitled "Damn Love", on April 28th.

The 13-track effort was co-produced by Moore and Jaren Johnston (The Cadillac Three), and according to the announcement, the album "explores an internal tug of war and puts it simply enough: Damn Love." (continue)
